  1. Take a piece of stainless steel, you can take small or big as per your choice. Because density remains the same means density is not dependent on the size of the material. 
  2. Determine the weight and volume of the piece. Weight can be determined by measuring it on a scale. 
  3. To determine the volume, you can use the formula of volume as per the shape of your piece. 
  4. If the selected piece is irregular then use the water displacement method. 
  5. Now, divide the mass by the volume, and you will get the stainless steel density.
